The Elin Pelin Foundation leads a few major projects as it aims to spread and popularize Bulgarian culture in the Houston area:
Bulgarian School “Elin Pelin”
The school was established in 2012 and is the first Bulgarian school in Houston. The school
offers classes in Bulgarian language, literature, history, geography and culture. All classes are conducted in Bulgarian.

Library “Elin Pelin”
Our library houses a collection of over 1,200 periodicals, books, and educational publications in Bulgarian, English, and Russian. Elin Pelin members have access to the library and are able to check out books. We invite you to enrich your understanding of the Bulgarian language, culture and history through the power of literature and books.
