Bulgarian School Elin Pelin in Houston

Elin Pelin was established in 2012 and is the first Bulgarian school in Houston. We have students between the ages of 4 and 16. Our school is registered with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science and works with approved programs for studying Bulgarian language, history and geography.

Elin Pelin School is a partner school of Association of Bulgarian Schools in America (ABSA).

Bulgarian school “Elin Pelin” welcomes students for 2023-2024 school year


Elin Pelin school opened doors on September 9th with a short online parent-teacher conference for all grades. Regular classes start on September 16th and 17th.

This year, for the first time, we reached 100 students enrolled in the three cities and online. Thank you to all the parents, teachers and staff for their tireless efforts that led to this success!

Classes schedule 2022-2023

Main school „MECA” – 1900 Kane St, Houston TX 77007 (Downtown)

Kindergarten (5-6 yr old) – Saturday 9:00 to 12:00 – Teacher Diana Angelova

At the end of the school year, students will receive a certificate for completed grade level.
